IMG_1275After earning her degree in Textiles and Surface Design at Cleveland College of Art and Design in 2003, Louise went on to teach on various courses.

Skilled in printmaking, illustration and stitch, and expanding into knitting and crochet later on, Louise became a Lecturer for 5 years as well as Head of Design in a Sixth Form College.

IMG_4033Louise began handylittleme as a side project next to her teaching job in 2008 and her projects have been the focus of many magazine and website features since.

Her creations include bunny rabbits, mice and cats – “They are all individual little characters with crochet overalls” – as well as hand knitted tea cosies and knitting patterns for you to make your own products.
