  2. the garden will be getting a makeover – decorations, pots, planters etc – hopefully they will all be wonderfully colour co-ordinated 🙂

  3. We’re doing up the kitchen – we’ve already torn the shelves down and the plan is to make our own shelves in the new year and a cabinet too, then a fresh paint job and put them on the wall. We’ve got dinnerware and cookbooks everywhere at the moment!

  4. My daughter wants to redecorate her bedroom. She’s going from pink, floral to grey and yellow! We’re on a tight budget so there will be lots of upcycling involved!

  5. First up in the new year is to strip and repaint a very scratched and dull typewriter, I can feel something orange coming on.

  6. Reupholstering 2 mid century chairs with some specially printed fabric, trying to decide what colour to paint the wood work.

  7. I am planning to upcycle vintage furniture in shabby chic style; ,I have chests, tables and bureaus waiting for my attention, I also love making cake stands from vintage China. I have just learned how to do a bit of flower arranging, so I will be putting together centre pieces in decorated mason jars for family and friends.

  8. I plan to completely change my bedroom. This will include changing the carpet, painting the walls, putting up new shelves etc. It’s a much bigger job than it sounds, which is why is has taken me so long to do.

  9. We’ve been shabbying up old furniture using Rust-Oleum chalk paint (Winter Grey, Cocoa and Antique White) for the past few months and plan to take on some bigger pieces of furniture next year. Our local B&Q never has the Rust-Oleum sealing wax though so we have to keep borrowing it from a friend!

  10. I am going to pimp my garden tools. I am fed up of losing them in the garden or throwing them accidentally in the compost heap,, so the brighter and jazzier the better.

The timber windows also need some attention which will be a job for spring!
Oh by the way I also subscribed to your newsletter.

  27. We are currently renovating an old victorian house and the only room done at the moment is the kitchen, so I plan to do the 2 reception rooms next….new ceilings walls and floors! just a small job! lol
