  1. Baked Butternut squash stuffed with onion, garlic, sultanas and ground cumin, with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of veggie mozzarella on top for the last few mins of cooking!!

  2. Beef stew made with Guinness and herby dumplings served with either mashed potatoes (must use butter and milk) or a really good bread.

  3. In the winter my slow cooker is on almost every day! I love making a hearty beef casserole. No two are ever the same as I literally call it beef bitsa – Just Bits of this and that thrown in the pot – whatever veg need eating up etc

  4. My favourite is a bowl of spicy sweet potato, butternut squash & ginger soup. The colour and the spices are as warming as the hot soup itself.

  5. My favourite recipe is my mums Neck of lamb stew with split peas, red lentils and of course home made cheese dumplings.

  6. I’m following you on twitter and google, and liked you on facebook – not sure what you mean by ‘linking back to this page’. The post I commented on in facebook already contained a link to this page.

  7. Homemade Yorkshire puddings, the large ones, filled with a rich meaty stew and then a little one for dessert with jam!
